The field of amyloidosis has witnessed many exciting advances in recent years. It has been a great pleasure to watch the Canadian community of amyloidosis healthcare professionals grow over this time. With this collaboration comes enthusiasm for the development of a formal Canadian Amyloidosis Society to serve this growing community.

The purpose of the Canadian Amyloidosis Society is to raise awareness of amyloidosis in Canada through education, address gaps in clinical care, support individuals with amyloidosis, and foster national collaboration within the amyloidosis community of professionals.

The CAS is currently in the early stages of development, including the establishment of a formal Executive Committee, membership list, and development of a Canadian Amyloidosis Services map of clinical services, identifying treatment centers across the country (with information accessible to both patients and healthcare professionals).

As fellow Canadian amyloidosis colleagues, we hope you will consider joining this exciting movement. As a member of the CAS, you will be part of a dynamic network of amyloidosis experts and care providers across multiple sub-specialties and disciplines through community engagement, educational opportunities, awareness advancement, and collaboration for research and other initiatives.

To register as a CAS member, at no cost, and to indicate interest in contributing your clinic/center’s information to the Canadian Amyloidosis Services map, please complete the registration form via the link here.
