Guidelines for Program Proposal
A 1 year Fellowship post FRCPC and open to Canadian Trained Neurology and Physiatry Residents.
Goal is to improve knowledge and education in the treatment assessment, and evaluation of tone related impairment.
The purpose of the Merz fellowship is to improve the quality of medical education in tone related disorders in Canada. The Fellowship makes it possible for young Canadians who have been selected for appointment on the continuing staff of a Canadian medical school, to acquire knowledge, techniques, and experiences in a medical centre other than their own.
Funded Support $65,000 (fellow) and $10,000 to supporting academic program.
Any interested Academic Centre who feel they can support the fellow will submit a 2 page proposal outlining the fellowship offered at their institutions. The successful applicant will choose your program based on the information provided.
The successful candidate fellow cannot have been a resident in your program.
Each Program willing to support a fellow for one year with a specific spasticity fellowship director.
