Description
The pandemic has provided clinicians and patients with an increased comfort level in using technology, and an increased appreciation for the advantages and disadvantages of technology enhanced education. This session will review the evidence available for technology enhanced education methods, practical considerations in creating online stroke education resources, and highlight how different SIG members are using technology to enhance stroke education. We will also review the recent stroke SIG survey results
Objectives
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
– List the SMART objectives by completing this sentence:
– State the evidence currently available for online and blended educational methods
– Share different online resources being used in stroke education
– Discuss next steps for the Stroke SIG format
