CAPM&R MSC Accessibility, Language and Disability
Dr. Audrey Yap is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She is the Education Lead of the PM&R Division at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital – Sinai Health in Toronto, Ontario. She is one of the co-leads for the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Comprehensive Review Course. She is a fellow of the Canadian Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons and is a Board certified physician of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed her Masters of Science in Community Health with a focus on medical education. She has a special interest in health care education regarding Accessibility for individuals living with a disability. Clinically, she has extensive experience in treating individuals with complex musculoskeletal, spinal cord injury, and stroke rehabilitation needs.

Dr. Audrey Yap will present on accessibility – a one stop shop for physicians and medical students to learn about accessible language, accessibility laws in Canada, and how to best care for patients living with impairments.
